This wouldn't be the time to sell though! Then again, he's rarely cared much for being strategic with his sales/purchases before, so maybe he'll just offload.
This.Isn't the money that he pumped into the club in the form of loans?
This is hardly going to smooth the way to find a new manager. Who'd want to come to a club (john terry) with such restrictions looming ahead? Sure, they can use appeals to delay the process, but Chelsea hardly have a track record of internal development. It's mostly been chequebook team building.
This.
If he wanted to, he could just cease trading, asset strip the club and pay himself the loan back with plenty of interest (assuming the loan was agreed to and I'd be surprised if it doesn't).
There's nothing to stop him just ending the club and walking away.
I agree. A more stable (or law abiding) Russia might see him call that debt in quickly.I'm sure that his main reason for doing it this way was to put the money out of Putin's reach.
JT to come in and oversee their demise to bankruptcy, it’s just too much to ask for isn’t it??This is hardly going to smooth the way to find a new manager. I think so, and when Barca got done they were given a window to buy the likes of Suarez before the ban kicked in!Are they able to renew contracts in that time?
