That's a done deal. He's already signed and the ban is the NEXT two transfer windows, not previous.Would the Pulsic deal go through? Is that why they wrapped it up in Jan?

They'll put an appeal in so that the ban doesn't come into effect until after the summer window. That'll give them a chance to stockpile but they'll have to pay over the odds to do it.
And they have so many youth players. With the right coach it could work in their favour. Reinvent their ethos, and give stabilty. fukers
Should help us tho, they always seem to snare our targets.
The youth players are only there to sell at a profit and help them meet FFP. The biggest issue that they have is that Abramovic seems to have lost interest since his visa was refused.
I wonder about that. He's clearly abashed. Why should I spend my money when they don't want me. But is he watching on his yacht? Effectively playing football manager from afar? If he sold up, the new owner would also be a billionaire. Would be more funny if he took out his distain on chelsea and ran them into the ground.

There isn’t any quality difference in the players they use and the ones on loan, there is a list here,

I reckon you could get two elevens out of that better than the PL team for this season.
Who was the last manager they had who could develop players?
Gullit/Vialli?
It obviously needs a rethink, but their first team is such a shambles and they have a two window ban, there will never be a better time to do it.
If they are smart this summer they can start next season with a third of the wage bill and a squad of unknown potential with zero threat of relegation.
This is a gift for them.
I also wonder who the other 4 clubs meant to be on the verge of being banned are; so City and the Sancho issue counts for one - and might explain the bulk-buying they did in summer 2017 knowing this day might come...i wonder who else...
Imagine the lolz if WE were one of the teams - and have been banned unofficially
[Only Joking]
Anyway, after City, who else? I go for Liverpool, Watford and Leicester...
They only got a ban on signing youth players though.Didn't Liverpool already get found guilty of this before? So I assumed that it was another club
A billionaire owner is no guarantee of success, look at what Randy Lerner did to Villa and the Venky's at Blackburn.
