When they dragged him to the floor surprised no villa player 'accidentally' stood on his face,what a fecking tool....idiots like him set a precedent,if something happens at our new ground now perhaps against the spammers we could have ground shut down now because of that idiot.

It must have been so tempting.
I applaud them for not doing so, it would probably have sparked a pitch invasion.

We were lucky at the lane, with away fans tucked in the corner in was hard to get to the pitch and behind the goal for the home fans was the photographers trench.
 
Anyone remember the spurs fan take a swing at Lampard - he was so drunk the haymaker was easily dodged and the guy ended up on his arse.

If it's a first offense (nothing reported either way that I can see), then a custodial sentence seems harsh.
I was expecting a suspended sentence and fine.
A strong message, but mugmi allow him to keep his job. He'll striggst to find one now and that impacts directly one three other people. (Two of whom are children)

Mate of mine got a lot longer for throwing a shoe at someone during a brawl outside a club.

Caught on CCTV, bang to rights, see you later...

This guy - MILLIONS seen him, theres no excuse whatsoever, all the evidence required - 14 weeks and a 10yr ban doesnt strike me as the example I expected.
 
6 months and a life ban minimum and I’ve mellowed in last 24 hours!

12 weeks too short. Life ban is/was a no brainier imho

Well the maximum for assault is six months custodial.....so I think you might have been a little out of touch 25 hours ago.

Do you really think that assault is at the top end?

Justice should be fair and balanced, not propoganda.
If he did outside Tesco in Aston on a Tuesday Vs on the pitch, the assault sentence should be the same.
The two concurrent guilty offences are likely to have increased the punishment.

(Also, apologies for my initial post - reread it and it came across a bit arsey and overly aggressive)
