QPR 1-3 Reading FT

Reading had Gorkss sent off on 71 minutes.

QPR's promotion campaign slowly fading. They've only scored 37 goals in 30 matches. Of the teams outside the top 6 currently I think Wigan might stand a chance. They're steadily improving under Rösler and no more Europa League to worry about.
 
QPR are going to be in trouble if they do not come straight back up. They have spent massively and they will get hammered by the Football League's financial fair play rules.
 
What has happened to my man, the rapper, Royston Drenthe?

He hardly gets a game nowadays. Case of one good game then nothing after that (+ injuries)?
 
I go to Brighton games quite a bit 6 this season I have only had to pay for 3 as I go when ever one of a group of 4 season ticket holders can not make it.

I have noticed a lot of the championship side play with more tactical defensiveness then in the past, think it might have something to do with the foreign coaches coming in and liking to play that way.

As for who might go up think some of it might depend on who teams get in before the end of the loan window and how squads cope with injuries. What i find amazing is that a club like Brighton lost 14m last season and had to sell in the transfer window so to meet the new FFP rules of losing a max of 8m a season. Makes me wonder what the clubs who have net transfer spends are losing a season.

The are some good youngsters in the championship who I would like to see come up to the prem as they may have a future with england if they progress. Nick Powell at Wigan is the stand out one for me.

I think it will be Leicester Burnley and Derby to come up.

I couldn't see him staying. They'd be facing massive fines under financial fair play from next season and there are very few players on their books with any resale value.

Yeah i do, i said in the youth threads a few times last season we should have gone for him. My post was not very clear in that i meant i am just looking forward to seeing him in the prem. Same can be said for hughes at Derby as well.

What i find interesting is that even Championship clubs loan out there young players to lower league clubs, Brighton loaned out young Goodwin who is a striker Liverpool were meant to be sniffing around though it could just be Rodgers was at youth games last season supporting his son who was in the side at the time. Anyway Brighton have loaned out this lad to Torquay and he scored a lovely goal yesterday i saw on the football league show.

Found it funny how even Championship clubs loan out their younger players for some regular football.

From a personal POV travelling-wise, that would be brilliant. Or possibly Wigan via the play-offs if not Forest. Burnley is near for us but its another sh#thole like Blackburn so I'm not bothered about going there
