Championship and EFL Football

West Brom sack Darren Moore for the heinous crime of being well positioned in the playoff places.
 
Unfortunately there are idiots at every football club but these are hopefully in the minority. That guy has just ruined his life in one moment. He won't be able to go and watch a professional football match again, will probably go to jail and will probably lose his job.

Sad thing is he was kissing the badge or pointing to the badge and other fans were applauding him. They're just as bad as they're condoning it. fudging knobs like that need to be culled. Those and anyone that goes onto Jeremy Kyle.
 
Just make Birmingham play in an empty home stadium for a season as punishment. Ban their away fans for a season too. Then hopefully the next qunt who wants to run on the pitch and attack a player will get lumped by other fans before he's able to get on.

The guy is an absolute tool.
And he could easily have been carrying a tool - small blade, screwdriver, cut throat razor etc.
Doubt he'll do prison time, suspended sentence more likely. Assault and a football related offence I guess.

Could Birmingham have done more security wise? I not sure you can.
 
Really stupid. There was no way he was not going to be caught and a prison term seems inevitable. Can't tell how old the person is, but if an adult then it's a great way to fcuk up your life in one moment.

I think the calls for points deductions and stadium fan bans are ridiculous (Gary Neville, I mean you). If there is a pattern, yes, but all clubs are vulnerable to stupid actions by their fans.

Pay a better wage, so stewards aren't just pensioners and sixth formers?
