AVB

No, it was the internal machinations that were undermining our manager(s) and damaging the team.

I am no Sherwood fan and scared of him taking over at Brighton but he did not send out our team afraid to not cross the half way line or go games without even taking shots at goal in some matches.

AVB was an awful coach and I am so glad he is gone no amount of revisiting history will change my mind on that.

Even if that were true (I think there's plenty of evidence to show otherwise) it wouldn't excuse what Dimmeh did.

You mean his record points average, or the fact that we scored 3 goals or more in more league games in his 6 months in charge then avb and pouch have managed in 2 years?

AVB (on Sherwood cont): “He continued after I left and his leadership resulted in a extreme split between the players and the coach."

AVB (on Sherwood): "Tim was not part of my team, but I already alerted the president that he was detrimental to the club."

He may well have been right about Tim but why the **** would he have thought Barrack Obama would be interested?

Just shows his level of arrogance in my opinion ;)

But In all seriousness... How did Tim manage to do better than him while causing these so called 'massive rifts'?

Funny mate that AVB is still being defended despite washing our club's dirty Laundry in public. If Tim had come out with these comments the server thingy would have exploded for all the vitriolic posts that it would receive.

Probably because one washes his dirty linen in public AFTER he has left the club whilst the other was such a bellend that he'd do it whilst still working for the club...:-"

The were so many thrashings I lost count,

Are you talking about AVB or Sherwood here?:-k

though your right I was drunk when I posted it.

Thought so

Now I am sober but AVB is still an idiot.

So long as he stood up to grand bellpiece Neil Ashton after his twisting of AVB's word he could never be that for me. Don't let your judgement on his football style when managing us cloud your view of this action at least. I wish more people in general would stand up to the gutter press when they get the chance like AVB did.

He didn't. Their results against the same opponents were virtually the same.

Um.... No they were not.... Nor were the goals scored... Or the quality of the attacking football played... But revisionism is a great thing.

Yes, they were. Difference comes from Sherwood playing Southampton, Stoke, and West Brom twice.

The quality of the attacking football was the worst I have seen since Pleat in 2004.

Ain't that the truth, when I saw these quotes by avb I was mighty tempted to post them in the Tim thread and accredit them to him, just to expose the hypocracy.

Um no.... Not by a long shot... In Tims 6 months in charge we scored three goals or more in more league games then the charlatan and pouch have managed combined in 2 years..... Now avb is b.ithching about spurs but people still seem to want to defend the fraud.

I can't wait for Tim to get his next job, so we can see who is the real fraud!

At least he won't have to go to the richest clubs in the respective countries to be deemed successful... How did avb get on in the champs league by the way?

Ok speaking of records, goals scored etc, what would you say was Tim's "signature game", i.e. the one game when he got most supporters feeling proud and almost knocking over themselves to say 'this guys needs time' when bumpy results hit later in his reign.

For AVB, I'd say it was the first win at Old Trafford in 23 years.
For 'Arry, I'd say it was the late 2-1 win vs Liverpool in his 3rd game when Pav scored that very late winner (of course this came straight after the Emirate 4-4 draw).

What game would you say was Tim's equivalent?

Haha. You get better and better! AVB is working, coaching, managing. He didn't get past the group stage of the CL with Zenit, sadly for him.

Meanwhile Tim has been doing what?:-k
