Our away PL fixtures for the rest of the season: Leicester, Wolverhampton, Southampton, Everton, Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Liverpool, Villa, Leeds.

Not saying any of those will be easy, but definitely could be harder.

Two games against teams currently above us in the table, Saudi Sportswashing Machine away and Manchester United at home. Again no easy games in this league, but could be harder.

We've played 10 games against the current bottom half teams this season. Won 8, draw away at West Ham and the loss at home to Villa.

That's a pretty good record, though we haven't always played well. Should be able to pick up points at a good rate in these games unless our form drops again.

None of those have done anything other than work their nuts off for our club, and yes they are human and they make mistakes. But you think that sometimes they deserve a beating, rather than our support? The abuse of Emerson in particular is absolutely shocking. Can you imagine everyone at your work/pub/family turning round to you and saying "fudge off Gazza, you useless clam".

A bit of dream queen ... which one of these mentioned got a beating?

They get abuse online and in the arena as its part of the territory of being a celebrity or in the public eye.

Have you ever slated a politician? After all they are just trying their best right?

Working their nuts off? Well maybe they are not fit for purpose and fans have a voice to want better?

These football people know the deal when they go professional, they will get slated for not performing and they will get paid handsomely for it. Do you think the players are naive in thinking that they will get all the love all the time and walk off as heroes for not being up to scratch.

I bet these same players you have mentioned at one time in their life sat in the stands and understood what could happen. They are not that fragile.
 
I like Conte despite criticism and I do get he has been a successful coach elsewhere. I just don't see it at Spurs, yes we need to improve in areas but I just can't give him a clear pass on us looking so disjointed, alot of lesser managers punching above their weight out there with decent coaching and systems the players buy into or understand. And I understand he has had a tough year but you cant expect a top PL side to write off a season because of it
