I dunno. He's in the mould that conte seems to want, was once thought of highly enough barca spent fairly big money on him. Davies and dier weren't exactly thought of as great a year ago.

Not saying he'll be first choice, but i'll wait and see on him.

Both Davies and dier have come on leaps and bounds but still would like them given competition. Only automatic starter for me are:

lloris
Romero
Bentancur
Son
Kane
Kulusevski

but conte knows best and has trusted the likes of dier, Davies, holjberg. PEH has genuine competition with skip and bissouma the two defenders do not

Watch it on the vid i posted. Last 20 mins or so. Parrott finshed strongest. Kane dropped out then came back. Then him bissouma and son died. Followed by doherty and moura.

If it's anything like Japan, South Korea in July is going to be BRUTAL. Pushing 30degC (similar latitude to north Africa) and crazy levels of humidity.

Sounds a lot more like a Poch preseason than a Mourinho/Nuno one. This bodes well.
