Antonio Conte - officially NOT the coach of THFC

I think we were unlucky last, nothing should be judged on that game.
But 1 win 5 is it, questions need to be asked.
Especially the manner of some of those defeats.
Don’t disagree
But wolves have lost once in several months in what was a robbery
Southampton have lair ince I believe in 2 months too, to wolves
We’re up and down currently

Haven't read ten pages of knee-jerking, but the result last night was fine lines, hit the bar, hit Pope, and Kulusevski just missed the far post before they scored. Thought it was a pretty good performance considering. I'm also taking the 'if I'm the problem' quote as a response from a hot-headed Italian who hates losing and being wound up by the media. On to the next match, COYS.

Wise man, we all get upset when we lose but the knee-jerking is getting child like.

One thing that nobody has mentioned but has been a constant, the fans.

Rather than fans we could hire 60,000 professional motivational speakers to chant positive affirmations from the stands. It’s still not going to change our reliance on Kane and Son for goals, or make our wingbacks effective going forward, or turn Sanchez (who we’ll turn to after one injury in the back line) into a ball playing rolls Royce of a CB.

There are discussions to be had of whether we are overly entitled as a fanbase compared to other clubs but attributing blame on us is a step too far imo. Football fans are happy when their team is winning, and are moany bastards when things go south, it’s not a surprise is it?

This idea that fans should sit through absolute dross and still cheer with adulation for the bellends on the pitch not doing their job is like the opposite of the minute of hate in 1984.

Oh, the drama. It's going to be an up and down kind of season. We'll win some, we'll lose some. Conte needs to be backed in the summer and assurances should be made. Levy simply has to to keep his job.

That's where we're at. No need to write a book about each defeat. We'll have a few more as well before the end of the season.

Not true. The stadium has allowed for even more entitled customers to attend and bitch and moan if we're not winning.

Yup, the amount of tourists surrounding me on recent visits to NWHL has made for about as electrifying an atmosphere as when we played our home games at Wembley Stadium.

Put Kane in peak Chelsea and Barca/Inter sides and he'd have a trophy haul equal to or greater than either of those players

Ok if you say so. Proof says otherwise. He doesn't perform for Spurs in those big games. Some of those strikers I mentioned actually showed up in those finals.

Note for fellow fans - I am not saying Kane is a poor or bad striker. I am saying Kane hasn't shown to me that he shows up in big games. The data shows that he doesn't.

I'm not saying fans should take all the blame. But the atmosphere in the stadium can effect performances on the pitch.

Football is a team game, strikers need service, especially in big games against stronger opposition.

You don't have proof you have subjective numbers

Much like how the performances can affect the atmosphere no?

I haven’t said that you said fans should take all the blame either, we’d go wildly off topic if we had to say everything we weren’t saying in a post though that’s for sure!
