Releasing prisoners who stormed Capitol who then came out and made threats to their political rivals, of course its retribution. Its child playground stuff, how much of this is about the the good of the American people or as proven on here a chance for people to celebrate them sticking it to someone

I went through that twitter and some of it is on face value wastage, many of it is people getting upset that money is being spent abroad, with absolute no bigger picture thought about how aid and contracts abroad strengthen us internationally and things like investment in strategic military posts and why we spend money there.
 
Ironically we are on a football forum where half the fans want people to be paid more money on wastage of contracts and for a billion pound stadium to sit empty because they don't like the commercial nature of the club (jest)

I think peoples understanding of foreign aid is simplistic. There are no acts of benevolence going on. Everything given in aid has an objective to benefit the Us/UK respectively. Softening of relations. Export agreements. Import agreements. Weapons deals. Political influence. The system is corrupt and bad but it is not benevolent.

the condoms to Gaza thing should prove it is problematic, as it was not what people assumed. He admitted he got it wrong (more likely he knew and lied). The lie was repeated by Trump Jr. Elon and Trump are not on your side or the common mans side. They literally only care about themselves. The biggest trick people like them and Farage have played is convincing people they give a fek about anyone but themselves.

Now this does not mean Biden or Starmer or Rishi give a damn about me and you. But putting these charlatans on a pedal stool when they are a different flavour of the same brick is naïve.

You don't get where Musk has got to without checking the details of anything you say in public.
He must have known that was wrong, just as he must have known it would be fact checked and proven to be wrong. It’s concerning that he knew all that and still done it anyway.

It is all deliberate - misinformation, lies, cherry-picking to create conflated outrage - it all muddies the water and lessens the public trust in anything and everything.

Trump has now put himself in a position where Ukraine have no autonomy.
And Trump can not afford to come away without a deal given the hype he has made of it. Both today and for about the last few years before… incessantly whining on about how it would be over in a day if he was President (it would not, it is not)

We know these “negotiations” are less real than a WWE world championship fight

But pretend they are

Putins gonna take him for every thing he can right?

I've said this before but dems need to spot the cracks. This is an open goal with the ball sitting on the line. It takes no imagination to come up with a way to drive a wedge between them. All they have to do is refer to FElon as President Musk every time they open their mouth and it will drive Trump insane.
