The interview I saw just had him blaming injuries for the terrible season he's and Saudi Sportswashing Machine have had. Clearly his meaning is that he wants the season done with, not that he'd actually want to lose 4-0 away.

I'm not defending him, he's under pressure and probably regrets speaking to TV but, everyone's getting a bit hysterical about nothing
 
Yes, I don't think Fergie spent the last 26 years intimidating referees and officials for fun. What the players do on the pitch is only half the battle with many factors coming into play.
 
After their poor showing at home conceding 3 to Sunderland, 6 to Liverpool, Pardew comes out and says he doesnt care if they lose 4-0, 50 000 have paid over 40£ to watch the game.. This is comedy:lol:

I know all he wanted to say was that staying up was the main thing..but still :lol:

Ashley is NOT a Spurs fan, he used to have a season ticket at Chavs though that was some time ago. Whelan's mouth runs as freely as Arry's - and they're equally trustworthy.

You can bet that Mike Ashley cares about the money though. I actually think these comments will put the spotlight on Pardew and now Saudi Sportswashing Machine *can't* afford to look like they're on the beach already. Certainly it's better to have this in the open than Pardew joking about it in the safety of the dressing room as they start their vacation planning.

Hopefully those words will be enough to get Pardew the sack early. I'd rather roll the dice with a Saudi Sportswashing Machine caretaker in charge (not you Shearer) than have them play Arsenal under Pardew. But I still think it's really Wigan or bust for us.
 
I remember Pardew coming out in 2006 before our lasagnegate game with the spammers saying how "they owed it to Arsenal" to put out a strong team against us even though they had the cup final the next week. Not sure why he hates spurs.
 
I hope Pardew is still there next season. What better way to guarantee another flirt with relegation and poor performances? As long as we don't have to play them in the first game of the season. :evil:
