Two assists in the last (league) two games, methinks.
Anyone know what was up with no Lennon today?
Lots of stories linking him with Stoke today, I still think he's a very useful player to have around but it seems he might be out of favour again.
Lennon is a big part of Spurs for me, part of the early revival of Spurs, part of the best teams of the last 10 years, unplayable on the day, forgettable on others.
I would be sad to see him go, right now, I'd rather have him and Dembele as our bit part/cup players, both have a bit more experience, both probably willing to accept bench time more than say Townsend/Paulinho.
Hoping he's just injured/recovering right now.
Been here 9.5 years now. Almost testimonial time.
So you're saying that Levy wants him out after realizing how much work it is to organize a testimonial and he's planning to spend our transfer profits on hookers and blow on a yacht in the Caribbean with Lewis instead?
Would be a day with a lot of contradictory feelings for me if we do sell him.
In the end Poch has to do what Poch has to do on these issues.
I understand, but people like to talk about mercenary players, lack of loyalty, etc. yet same people want to ship out Lennon (who from all reports has clearly stated he wants to fight for his place)
Been with us from 17, part of BMJ's team, I've met him a couple of times .. really would be a sad day for me.

They are not the same people though.
They people who fawn over Dawson and Lennon don't realise that the only reason they are still here was they weren't good enough to be targeted by richer clubs.
I've no doubt they would have happily followed Carrick, Berbatov, Modric and Bale.
At no pint was their 'loyalty' tested.

I'd be very surprised if we never had an offer for Lennon & Dawson previously, maybe not a big club, big money offer, but there probably were inquiries.
Most players will leave for 2 or 3X salary plus a very good shot at silverware.
My comment is we hardly show loyalty (regardless of scenario/circumstances) yet somehow forget that at first opportunity.
