Aaron Lennon

Lennon has possibly the weakest shot I've ever seen for a pro player.
They are literally back passes!
That said, I still love his speed over 10 yards, ball control and the way he uses his low centre of gravity. I'll be gutted if we can't get more out of him, and flog him.

This did I hear someone say Lennon has a good shot? That has to be a wind up, in all his years with us I have never seen him score a goal where it wasn't just a slow dribbler to a corner or when he rounded the keeper and passed it into the net.

THAT goal against Chelsea

THAT goal against Chelsea

and the goal v Hull, top corner from the edge of the area...and the low drive v Birmingham at the Paxton end (92nd minute winner 2009?) Goal (albeit slightly deflected) v Stoke last season.

Point being he's scored more than just a few 'non-tap-in's during his time at Spurs.

he has 26 goals in nearly 10 years with our club (over 250 appearances) he does have some good qualities especially in his younger days but saying he is a good finisher sorry I can just not in any way agree with that

Eh?? If that's what you call mis-controlling a cross, I hope our forwards mis-control a cross every week!!

just watched it again that was a brilliant control and finish still my point stands easy to point out the few great finishes he has had for every one of those he has 5 daisy cutters that are easy to forget

Not what I'm saying.

Is that not Lennon to the right on Andros Townsend in the bottom left?

Hmmm..perhaps you're right. Can anyone confirm using photos from another angle?
Then possibly answer the golden Q if he indeed wasn't in the photo?!

Yes, the answer is that Aaron Lennon is the photographer. He does Premier League Team Photographs as a side line to earn some extra cash.

That particular photo clearly isn't the final version; in fact they look like they might be waiting for something. And it also looks to me like there might be a space next to Dembele (top right). So I'm guessing this was taken a few seconds before the final player got into frame (Lennon?) and before the official version got snapped.

Just a theory.

EDIT: In fact, unless my eyes deceive me, that looks like it might be the corner of a chair being carried towards the back row (right edge of the pic). Could be it's being carried by Lennon...

(or am I reading too much into that?)
