Those are my thoughts everytime I watch Wales play.

Bales heroics for them over the years has made people believe they are actually a decent side. They are not.

Wales are at best average. They used to have the advantage of peak Bale and Ramsey - but Ramsey has been awful both games and Bale non existent both games even though he’s scored a penalty. They are nowhere near the players they were. No doubt they will raise their game against us but will be shocked if we don’t win by at least a couple….

All being well it will be a dead rubber (even with Iran on 3 points, the goal difference won't be surmountable) - so England will rotate completely

I heard one pundit who seemed to know his stuff saying Iran would be the 2nd best side in the group. No one else seems to have even considered them. Fair play for bouncing back after the England game. Made Wales look even worse than they usually are.
