2022 World Cup... gonna ruin the European Season

I want Argentina to win for Messi, clearly a better player and person than C Ronaldo. He’s not so great to watch now but the first twelve or so years of his career were something else. Personal highlight was when Arsenal went ahead at Camp Nou early and I had a sick feeing in my stomach but was thinking surely this Barca team won’t stand for this, surely Messi won’t. He duly scored a hat trick before halftime and I think got four in total.

"Better person" in the sense that he doesn't constantly brag about himself, and does not seek attention like that Portuguese girl.
BUT he's a money grabbing kitten of epic proportions, and sells himself to the Saudis and other dubious Arab states as long as he gets paid. So "better person" idk, just less of a bragging, attention seeking twunt.

There is something about Emi Martinez I just really dislike. Not sure if it's the silly thing in his hair and that he just looks like Russal Kane.
Good keeper. But just seems like someone you want to punch in the face.

I don’t really have any preference who wins this - I can’t even decide on the lesser of two evils. But I reckon France will do it again anyway and spoil the Messi show. At least if that happens I can be pleased for Hugo. I know we’ve got Romero for Argentina but as much as I like him I don’t feel quite as “invested” in him yet compared to Hugo. But I’d still be very happy for him of course.

Oh forgot about Giroud. That’s a tick for Argentina.
