2022 World Cup... gonna ruin the European Season

Too bad. Just a lack of depth that caught up with Morocco. Their most important players had to dig too deep one too many times this tournament. They had to make one change right before kick off, then Saiss after 5 minutes, and several others where too fatigued.
As a team though, phenomenal! Fair play to them, they never gave up, and kept going right to the final whistle. Great performance, and the team of the tournament in my view.

Fcukin' 'ell. Ya hate to go all positive on this WC in this barbaric, corruption-ridden desert outpost, where the media and worker death count continues to rise daily.

But it has delivered some crazy outcomes and now we have a truly classic finale with a Spurs starter playing for each side. I won't need therapy once it's over.

I do want to see a lively, fit, and well motivated Spurs side roll out for the next game against Brentford. And the one after that.

Wait till you see Lloris and Romero 'Schumacher' each other in the opening minute

Is the question which one will go missing after the World Cup?
If Argentina win we won’t see Romero this side of Christmas and on the pitch until the NY
If France win we will have Hugo here for Brentford
I'm not banking on seeing Romero until February no matter what

Still on the Russian payroll, as well as the Qatari then:

CNN are reporting that Fifa have rejected a request by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s president, to share a message of world peace before the World Cup final kicks off on Sunday.

Your NY Times doing a spectacular job of disemboweling that puff of smoke D. Beckham for his gutless endorsement of Qatar and then his even more gutless performance in upholding his contractual obligations to make appearances on behalf of his disgraceful benefactors.

I know most of you'se'uns won't have a subscription to the NY Times (best news outlet in the world), so here's a link to the The Guardian scalping the Times report for their own readers:
