It's a pretty obvious rumour really isn't itGrealish on loan (we pay £100k of his wages) for the season, latest rumour.
Sounds like it's only Everton and West Ham who are interested

Of courseThats your opinion but probably not the managers / clubs. This is why we sit on a forum talking about the whats if’s and the scouts, manager, chairman are earning the big bucks.
We're playing orthadox, not inverted FBs, now, so Spence will be much better at his normal RBRobinson would be my pick
Or ideally we get a right side option in and use Spence where I think he is best which is on the left

Ineffective showpony on a steep decline? Sounds perfect. For WrexhamGrealish on loan (we pay £100k of his wages) for the season, latest rumour.
Reminds me of Chrissie Hughton when he plays on the left.He wasn’t last year and he played very orthodox
On the left he was great because very one inverts their wingers
I did watch Chris play but it’s slightly before my timeReminds me of Chrissie Hughton when he plays on the left.

dybling has done so much more in the game already.Ineffective showpony on a steep decline? Sounds perfect. For Wrexham
Disagree. I thought Spence really struggled to progress the ball up the line with his left foot on numerous occasions. That wasn’t a huge issue because of Postecoglou’s inverted FB system, it would be a much bigger issue under most systems. He wasn’t last year and he played very orthodox

He did fine with the progression though not with his leftDisagree. I thought Spence really struggled to progress the ball up the line with his left foot on numerous occasions. That wasn’t a huge issue because of Postecoglou’s inverted FB system, it would be a much bigger issue under most systems.
If we’re reliant on Spence to cover both Udogie and Porro this season then we’re in a bad place iMO and that would be really poor squad management by our DoF.
Sounds like a levy special

You may not like him, but he’s certainly a good player
I don’t think we will see inverted full backs… well maybe in some gamesJamie Donley gave a little clue away at the weekend when interviewed after the game. It was something like "yes, I did play left back last year in pre-season but Thomas Franks plays it very differently".
I think we'll see the inverted full backs scrapped. Makes sense when you have a double pivot centre mid to be fair. I'm also hoping that the 3 in the 4-2-3-1 isn't that rigid. I love to see it when the 2 players get freedom to move across the pitch and switch places, even with the centre forward. Even more reason for the full-backs to stay in their wide areas. You can't have everyone playing everywhere.
We'll know more in a few months about this system.
Dibling's career is just starting, Grealish's is ending his. Grealish's best period he was being carried by John McGinn

But that’s not why I liked him on the left (Spence). It was because of how he dealt with inverted wingers
Honestly…. I didn’t see any of what your saying and thought he defended really tidilyI'm still on the fence when it comes to Spence. It was if there was a bandwagon last season in his favour. Whichever side he plays he needs to defend with way more intensity and concentration. It's as if that part of the game is secondary to him behind his touch and skills. I want to see more Porro in him to be fair. I also want Destiny to defend better and stop giving away those free kicks when he just runs into people as if he's Mr Blobby.
I reckon Frank will be really good for our full-backs. Ange wasn't in my opinion.

We don't sign elite players and I would be very surprised if at the end of the window we have signed one. So yeah I don't really buy that. We just don't want to take the risk, but its strange you have these players who are ready for the next step and available for reasonable fees that we don't go for, but now will go for them at an even earlier stage which I don't mind but there's an in-between stage that we seen unwilling to embrace.I get it, but would also add that our squad is rammed at this time. Adding another 3 or 4 of these younger players with a load of potential without the equivalent 3 or 4 departures may not make sense.
I think Spurs are after one elite signing next and that's where the budget will be allocated.
