But what about the huge issue at CF?
It’s glaring
Two games the opposition centre backs have played out with ease because we had no presence up top
Our high press has been non-existent but that isn’t down to not having a true CF. I’m expecting it will improve dramatically as never get a settled front line if that what you are referring to.

I think a lot of us have concerns at CF but the issue is as much with the fact there are literally none available. Marmoush and Solanke is an improvement on Richy and Solanke though.

A shame.
I wonder if the Richy - Everton - Ndaiye thing is now going to kick on.
I stand by my assertion we need more height.
We don't need height, we need players good in the air. Romero is shorter than VDV but a lot better in the air. Danso's air superiority isn't explained by being 1" shorter than VDV and 1" taller than JPVH.

Fine if he doesn’t use it as an excuse
The guy is rumoured to now be the highest paid manager in the league
He has been backed like no other
He has to deliver cohesive performances at the very least
If halfway through the season we are still lacking in any cohesion then sure start to complain. 2 match days in isn't the time to complain about a lack of gelling.

A very good point to be fair.
FWIW I am still going to back JPVH as the better choice because whilst not quite as good in the air as, say, Danso, he is much better on the deck. I think by November all complaints about him will be be firmly in the rear view mirror.
