You would like to think with the money recouped so far, the money to recoup on the dross and the "we have money to spend, we are ambitious and we will break the glass ceiling" that we will have that to buy anyway

The market for Vicario, Romero, Sarr, Richarlison, Solomon does not seem to be as strong as we would hope. We may need to cut deals simular to Dragusin where its a loan with an achievable obligation. Issue with that is we cannot count that money towards the 2026/27 accounts until the obligation is met.

Seems the reason we sold the youth for quick cash and accounting then. Not sure we have to do it for all of them, but I am no expert in all this PL accounting stuff so will take others lead and word on it all.

We can't actually sign anyone else without offloading players unless we want a Chelsea situation, we've got way to many players on the books to all be named in the PL squad.

I think we have a lot of outgoings this window, still a fair bit of money to be made aswell.

I think these players will be gone by the first game of the season.

I think if RDZ was given the time to work with Bergvall he could massively improve him. I wish he was prepared to be patient.

You can't teach really passing though, you either have that ability or not, especially not at 20 years old. You would have to hope he can already do it, but has just not felt able to express that ability. Otherwise it's not something he's likely to be able to add at this stage.

Well you can. But I don’t really agree that he’s not a good passer. Also countless examples of players who were tricky wingers and developed in to elite midfield players. Kevin De Bruyne the biggest example.

Hojbjerg has elite passing stats under De Zerbi at Marseille.

Look what Poch did to Dembele in his first 15 months with some coaching on passing (or specifically knowing when to release the ball). Dembele was about 25 then too
