***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton, White Hart Lane, Sat April 18th, 5.30pm***

At some point this season, I’m certain these players will produce a performance that makes us go “where the fudge have you been all season”. It’ll come out of nowhere and it’ll shock us all.

The hope is that that performance comes before it’s too late. We’re already very close to the point where we need an almost impossible run of form to save ourselves so it has to be soon. I’m not going to predict the result tomorrow because Brighton are a bloody good team.

But the tide has to turn at some point and when it does, I think it’ll be with an emphatic performance. I pray to all the Gods I don’t believe in that tomorrow is the day.

Like you, I worry that if and when it arrives, it'll be too late to make a difference to anything :(

Powerlessness is such a ѕhitty feeling, and it sounds trite, but all we can do is take one game at a time and keep supporting the team till it's decided, one way or the other.

"It's not the despair, Laura, I can handle the despair. It's the hope!"

4 of us are going
3 spurs and an Everton supporting mate
Plan was beers then footy but no trains from Bedford
So now early breakfast and train from sandy
Will be smashed before we get there which may be needed

Just seen no trains from Luton to Harpenden. Probs need to drive and park somewhere and get train ffs.

Just a reminder that a year ago we hadn’t won a trophy for 17 years - now we have. If we go down, we’ll get back up again.

Having said that, fudging come on! We can do this. Win today and it all changes!

Do we want Leeds to beat Wolves at 3pm today so they move closer to safety and are on the proverbial beach when we play them, or do we want Wolves to win so it's one more team we could potentially catch? Can't decide what's better so either you lot decide or I toss a coin

Wolves win easily. We can still catch Leeds if they lost there, especially if we won today's game. All this 'on the beach' stuff doesn't play out as expected anyway....

Want Wolves to win, need to keep Leeds within reach.

Wolves win without a doubt. Beating Wolves is in our hands so it’s on us to beat them. Any help we can get for the stuff out of our hands to reel in West Ham, Forest and Leeds will be gratefully received even if that means Woolwich beating West Ham if it’s needed at that point.
