Apparently he recovered well from that injury but the manager now plays some Conte esque 3 5 2 with no real wingers. Also entering the final year of his contract so they probably just want to cash in to fund new signings.

Loans can be cancelled anytime. But he wont be able to register back at the parent club if its between Sept and Dec.

Subject to the proviso that the duration of a Standard Loan must be the time between two Transfer Windows, Standard Loans can be for half a Season or a full Season. Any recall clause requiring the early termination of a Standard Loan can only be included in a full Season Standard Loan and this can only be activated during the second (January) Transfer Window. If Chiesa is getting back to the kind of level he had before his injury he would be absolutely perfect for Angeball imo. Arguably even better than Neto.

Why do you think Chiesa is being let go by Juve? If he was any good they would keep him. He lost it after his injury.

There are only a handful of forwards who would improve our attack. For the huge money involved they have to be significantly better than what we have, and that isn't easy. We've already got 57 "good" forwards.

It's difficult to find a 20 goal striker, a few 12-15 are talked about but for silly money.

That's the cost of giving your manager what he asks for. Lopetegui really wanted him because he's worked with him at Wolves.

Because he only has a year left on his contract I expect.
