The Official 2016/17 Premier League Thread

Well surprise surprise, the old WBA turns up at Anfield. An hour of football and not a single shot. How the f#ck did we not beat these?

Just amazed its only 2-0.

Sky have done a good job with the coverage over the last 20 odd years, but like most media driven businesses these days they are struggling to revitalise their appeal to the average viewer.
BT are bloody awful. Sky will need to change their prices and try and wrestle permission to show 3 o'clock kickoffs. And introduce an 'EPL ticket' for all matches giving the viewer more choice similar to the Bundesliga.

Yep. Said it before and will many times again no doubt. I would gladly get rid of Sky if I could buy any match on a PPV basis

The pool-united game last week was one of the most awful and boring games of football I've ever seen. We're in for another treat on Sunday. I wonder if anyone of Cheatski and Manure will even attempt to venture into the opposition half.

50k odd fans and you could hear a pin drop. Absolutely awful atmosphere, add Nial Quinn's commentary, makes this match a hard watch. But at least Southampton are winning.
