The Goon Thread

You have to feel for him, 1st time 2 key players out of a big game for almost 3 years not sure how he will cope
Maybe COVID can come back for 1 game only
Surely the tea lady or training ground janitor or someone has got covid. A quick outgoing loan deal for two-three midfielders during the week, and there's no way Arse can play Sunday.

Odegaard will apparently be fine.....Was just a minor sprain. Calafiori and Jesus could be back for Sunday too. Not like the media to make mountains out of a molehill

If he plays, just go in hard the first couple of tackles. He doesn't like that, and it's usually enough to keep him quiet. Especially with an already wobbly ankle.

It will be interesting to see what they do after assessing him, especially if he isn't as bad as he looked; they are away to Emirates Marketing Project a week later and it could be argued it would be better he is saved for that game (assuming he is touch and go for ours).

He missed a few games last autumn IIRC and i don't think the way they played was affected that much. Of course they'd rather have him than not, but it's not the disaster it would be if, say they were missing Saliba and Gabriel..

He is IMO their key player
He is the metronome for how they okay and their changes in form vary around his fitness and sharpness

Apparently got to wear their away kit this Sunday due to a clash of kits? Might do us a favour, think of them as Everton and give them a pasting!!

Those poor whibbling gewwners. Apparently Lee Carswell had the unmitigated gall to start TWO! Arsenal players in back to back games for England. Which sets off a wave of whinging. Like, Carswell, a new manager trying to get to grips with his new squad, has the slightest responsibility to any one club to coddle their players with an eye to league play.

On an international break where they had to play on Saturday in Dublin and Tuesday at Wembley. Couldn't have been much easier, barring a visit from San Marino. And Kane happily started both games. They really don't have the first fcukin' clue about life in general.

Maybe they're just ashamed to concede, with all the white and blue they've incorporated into this current kit, that they secretly admire and envy what Spurs have got in the way of style and culture. We're strong and steady in our support for the club and a desire to play a certain way.

They're just a shrieking, convulsing cultural popcorn machine that doesn't know it's arse from it's elbow.

Since when did their red shirts clash with our white?
Yeah I don't get it, was on the skysports news app. FA have decided they have to wear the away shirt and sky reported the last time the away kit was worn in a NL derby. 🙁
