Except he didn't say we'd enquiried AGAIN about Damiao he confirmed that:
- nobody from Napoli had been in touch with him about Damiao
- he said he didn't know if Napoli had been speaking to Damiao's agent.
- he said if he is interested in another team's player he contacts the player's club first not the player's agent
- he confirmed he has nevern received any formal offers for Damiao
- he said only two European clubs had been in direct contact with him at any point about Damiao.
- he confirmed we were one of the clubs who had enquiried but confirmed we'd never submitted a formal offer

I thought I read somewhere that MacDonald had strong ties to the club and was supposed to be really good at developing talent? Or maybe I'm beginning to mix ITK with reality...scary.
We've been having a chat in the mod lounge about this thread and here's how it will be:
This thread is for ITK and discussion of the content for those that are interested, how it would impact us etc., just like you would any other rumour from any other source.
It's not a thread for repeatedly stating disapproval of the idea that someone might actually have info or what a bunch of 'attention seeking tossers' they are.
You do not have to worship them or believe in them, but any posts merely bashing the people claiming to be ITK or anything else off-topic will be deleted at the mods' discretion. This is not in protection of ITKs, but because it's incredibly tedious and de-rails the thread, THIS thread. Same goes for attempts at point scoring about ITK in other threads as that takes those threads off topic. Apart from that you can carry on as before.
Just to repeat myself: This thread is for posting ITK and discussing it. If any of you have an overwhelming urge to talk about the reliability of ITKs, feel free to start a separate thread on it. Also, journalists posting on twitter are not ITK, they belong in either a player thread or the Transfer Discussion thread.

Can the thread be kept to ITK talk too, transfer rumours and less about other stuff? Seems that chat completely goes off the rails. It starts as a player being linked, then the question is asked about how talented the player is, then the player is stated as not able to fit with our tactics and then, before we know it, we know what cereal they eat. I'm obviously exaggerating but, if there's a thread about ITK talk, can we stick to that?
As with the ITK above, discussing Negredo is fine or what it could mean for Defoe/Ade/Dempsey, but don't stray too far. If someone compares him to someone else or says player X being better than player Y or whatever, nobody should take that as an excuse to go on about who they would like us to sign and other stuff. We have several other threads where you can state your wishlists and preferences.

Been told one incoming immenient and second not too far off. Yes I know I said 2 by the 8th, but can't help the fact Villa is a dingdong!. Also should see at least two outgoing by the end of the week.
As an aside I haven't been told anything about Benny going and the suggestion is either Naughton or Rose will be departing.
