Speculation in the comments that Nagelsman agent is based in Dusseldorf and there was a flight to Dusseldorf shortly after that photo was taken

Haha, I love these desperate rumors and pictures at airports shenanigans. Hope we do get Nagelsmann though, I'd be very excited again if we got him in.

There were also flights to Barcelona and Rotterdam pretty close to the same time as the Düsseldorf flight too.

Fair enough. I didnt check closely. Enrique has effectively said he's not interested so the Rotterdam one is possibly most pertinent

Either way, there has to be a pretty good chance that they were indeed off somewhere to meet one manager or other so positive either way

It's surely got to be a social induction/welcome to London type thing? City would sue our arse if he's doing proper duties for us while still working his notice for them.

He's on gardening leave if I recall correctly rahter than working his notice. Challenge they would have would be proving that he was doing something for us. Highly questionable whether they would waste the time and effort to try to prive that. One photo of him and a bald man at an airport doesnt really prove much

Notice and gardening leave are the same thing. The latter just means they take away your access to commercially sensitive stuff, but you are still under contract just the same. It's no different to say Sue Gray being caught lunching with Keir Starmer down Miller and Carter today - it's not a good look.

I know very well what they mean - I've been on both!

Working during a notice period would be more controversial given that he would actually be in their business still and working

I agree that he shouldnt work whilst on gardening leave but many, many people do ad-hoc pieces of work and calls during that period

Once he's not getting paid it's hard to prove anything. I doubt very much that City gives a damn if he is either way.

He is still on full pay at City.

This period is purposely to allow all his confidential knowledge to go out of date before he can do anything with it. After all the Paratici scandal, more shady business like this is not what we need

I know what gardening leave is for. The confidential knowledge he will have won't be out of date by July. If it isn't a prob for City then there's no issue. If it is a prob for City then of course it's a different story.
Levy isn't stupid enough to be photographed in an airport with him if it's going to cause probs.

Levy had done nothing but make stupid decisions for the past 3.5 years. Its like the stadium build broke him. I wouldnt put anything past him at this stage

No first team manager
No woman's manager
Looks like the woman's team should just avoid relegation
Academy team might get relegated
I'm sure there will be some restructuring that Munns will want to do inside the club, including the work Paratici has started.
Looking like we will need a new DoF.

I don't think it's just the luck of a new manager we need.

Someone posted an article a while back that our scouting network isn't as well built behind the scenes as we thought. There was also that scout in South America who leaked some info so there's some work to do there.

This made me laugh.

According to someone on Twitter

The Tottenham Korea reddit guess is that they are headed to Düsseldorf Airport. The clue is that the coffee shop is at Gate 2B. There are only two flights using gate 2b at the time of the photo. One of them is to Düsseldorf, where Nagelsmann's agency is located.
