They want boots on the ground, which is why they are advertising for any fantasist who fancies a bit of a scrap to come to Ukraine as AK-47 fodder. A no fly zone is the fastest path to escalation and NATO forces being deployed. Perfectly understandable, they are trying to defend their towns and cities from hostile troops.

Send in mercenaries, send army and special forces that just happen to be on annual leave at that moment in time. Deny everything, play the Russians at there own game.

Mercenaries are already being deployed, I believe, especially against the Wagner operatives. Very unclear who is paying for them, which is presumably the point.

Vindman of impeachment fame was saying there are some 16k in the foreign legion now including pilots. Supplying these guys with everything they need should be high on the priority list.

I care more because it could effect me. It could kick off a third world war which i doubt i'd survive. What's happening in yemen or china or ethiopia etc... is sad and i feel for the people. But it's not going to lead to everything i know and love being destroyed.
