Well that is true, but you are what you eat though. If you are fed the same misinformation repeatedly that has a significant effect. We are looking at the greatest propaganda weapon in human history and it is more or less left to run unchecked/unregulated. And make no mistake it is a weapon.
I would think that at least making it that those who post on social media are verifiable humans in some way would help. It would then at least fall into the natural balance of left and right that has always existed. I don't have the answers but we certainly need to do better and this war may be the wake-up call we needed, for this and a lot of other things.

people have always been stupid cûnts though, and they always will be. There are plenty of laws to protect us from stupid Cûnts and to protect them from themselves, so social media should be no exception

thats the thing though, why did we announce so early that we wouldn’t create a no fly zone?

even having some ambiguity about that would maybe restrict Russian carpet bombing.

It's the gun not the bullet, the bullets are the insecurities and bigotry not educated out of us.

I don't think human verified would make a difference, we've had both the US President and the UK PM stand at their platform lying and stoking culture wars.

Aren’t the Russians mainly using ground-based artillery? Stingers are doing a pretty good job of restricting Russian air operations, it’s not obvious that a no-fly zone makes sense. As long as we keep giving them planes and guns, and as long as special forces are in there doing secret squirrel stuff, all good.
 
Also, I realise that politicians can’t say this publicly, but surely it’s time for Putin’s assassination to be an urgent foreign policy imperative for pretty much every NATO member. Hope they are working on it hard.

Dunno. Seen a lot on youtube saying how it's racist that we're sanctioning oligarchs. Because we only care about people in ukraine because they are white. Ignoring the war in yemen.

Not as if we haven't sanctioned syrians, north koreans etc...

I'm not sure about youtube but the Facebook analysis shows a huge drop-off.
