***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs. Saudi Sportswashing Machine***

Not unlike Liverpool yesterday.

That right side worries me.
I don’t get Conte on this at all. I get it that he likes Royal, but if he knows he has to play Sanchez at RCB he must realise we are offering zero down our right hand side attacking wise and should really play Doherty or even Spence at RWB. I can’t see how this is going to be anything other than another painful watch…..

I thought PEH was the worst of our 3 Cms on Wednesday - perhaps carrying a knock. Romero hasn't looked the same since coming back from injury. Perisic worked some good positions but his crossing was poor. Conte likes Royal and he is normally solid defensively . I think Biss will be given the more attacking CM role which will suit him better imo.

With Kulu and Richi injured, I can understand the changes even if wouldn't be my choice.

Yeah I agree on this one. If he has to play Sanchez, he can’t play Emerson. Doherty is the option he has to pick. I really don’t get it.

Maybe, 7 months until the end of the season.

Which makes the tactic of playing your first 11 till they drop more of a head scratcher TBH. You would like to think rotation based on oppo would be a better load manager. Anyway let's see

Spot on. Continuing to repeat the same approach and expecting a different result? Madness! Odds on awkward passing between the two, errors leading to goalscoring opportunities and total absence of attacking threat on that side --- all high.

I get resting Doherty after a return from injury and with important games coming up, but not giving Spence a chance? How bad must he be in training?

Got to the point now where even ten minutes of Doherty or Spence would be a massive bonus.
