***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs. Saudi Sportswashing Machine***

Saudi Sportswashing Machine will be up for it, with joelinton, guimares, almiron all strong runners - hopefully conte sets up a team ready to run and chase, I think we will be doing that all game.

schar is an understated CB and will be happy to spray long balls into attack.

conte can't be happy with the man u game but i think he will persist with low block and low intensity game as we've done all season.

have we played well in the rain recently? all i remember during games it rained our boys looked cold, wet and miserable.

regardless, I think we won't lose if we score first.

I was gonna Google Eager Beaver to see where it was amongst the fine culinary establishments of Tottenham and then I realised what you meant…

Only reasonably priced flight I could get in was at 8:20 and I’m back out at 22:50. The things we do for love knowing she’s probably going to break my heart again…
Ah gotcha
Pick yourself a window seat in a nice cafe on the high road and watch the sights of Sunday morning Tottenham go by hahaha

Just plonked myself right there in a fine little eatery called Enjoy. I’m hoping the name is not too ironic but the menu doesn’t fill me with confidence.

Neither does todays game for some reason. Have an awful feeling it’s going to be one of those…

Thunderstorms forecast for during the game
Don't think I've ever been at a game when its been thundering

teletext rumours that the brilliant Bruno Guimaraes will be missing for them after he became a dad over the weekend.

Would be a big blow for them.

Disappointed in his comments that he feels we have to go 3-5-2. I get that he is a top coach, it really does feel like he lacks imagination at times and always plays it safe with the handbreak on. Oh well, I’m still fully on board the Conte train….

3-5-2 with Skipp starting is the rumour

Would very much like to see that. I do rate Bissouma, I'm happy we signed him, but think Skipp has been a bit hard done by this season. Several of his performances last season were better than what Bissouma has been showing this season.

Need to find a way to play well in a 3-5-2 now, can't just wait for Kulusevski to return. Hopefully we'll bounce back after the United frustration.

Will be interesting to see what Conte does at wing beck now, more options, perhaps a need for rotation, but still.

I remember one or two games at the old lane when it’s been biblical weather and the roofs started leaking! The old wooden north stand in the early 90’s.

think it’s also hailed and they’ve had to take the players off for a bit?

I'd like us to get back to 3 4 fudging 3

Hugo
Romero - Dier - Davies
Royal - Bentancur - PEH - Sess
Perisic - Kane - Son

Wouldn't mind seeing Skipp in CM, or Spence instead of Perisic.

Spence instead of Royal surely? No point playing the kid out of position if he finally does get the chance to play.

I’d like to see Perisic in that Kulu role as well whilst we’re waiting for the injured to get back.

Nah, I think it's too soon for him to be expected to know the defensive schemes, let him build confidence in one direction, minimise the responsibility whilst he finds his feet.

I remember the days under Poch and Redknapp where we were expected to win every home game, now we are worried and hoping teams have injuries against us to take any advantage we can get.
