Is curb your enthusiasm actually that good?

I think ive only ever seen one episode and even then I wasnt concentrating. I may give it a shot.

Is it one of those where I should start from season one episode one?

It helps to start from the beginning as it helps learn what the characters are all about however once you have seen a couple of series you can dip in and out. If you like Seinfeld you will like Curb.

The sense of humour is really dry, I honestly think it would not get made here, well certainly not the BBC as there is a lot of 'black people' jokes throughout the series I have watched. But the biggest tinkle take is out of themselves as Jews I think. It has many famous people involved in it.. like Adam Sandler crops up at weird times, of course because he is Jewish. Series 6 had Steve Coogan pop up which was rather random. And how hot is Lucy Lawless now.. well back in 2008.

I would recommend starting from scratch and watch them all. One of my absolute favorite shows \o/

Is Arrested Development that good? I've only watched a couple of episodes so far and reserving judgment. I think the show must be a slow burner as it's far from hilarious and I'm struggling to find reasons to continue to watch at the moment.
Do I persevere or is it not worth continuing on?

I have recently watched all of Sherlock, having missed it the first time out.

The stain on the blanket is one of the funniest scenes I have ever watched. Also the whole episode with the baseball jersey...

Its like a modern version of In Sickness and in Health before political correctness told us not to find these things funny.

the 5 second rule.. 1 missisippi 2 missi.... there reaction was like, is saying missisippi racist, the not sure look reaction lol The belly stab

It's probably best to but the earlier episodes are slower and more realistic and less funny. Season 2 is a lot funnier than 1 in my opinion. Then the best series are 3 and 4. I think that was it's peak.

Only a couple of great ones in the first season. Porno Gil for instance.

Definitely. It is layered so it can take more than one watch to get all the jokes. Some people don't really like that, but it is worth for sure. Are you watching the new Netflix series or the originals?

For me it mixes great high brow wit with pure farcical nonsense. Covers all bases

I need to watch Arrested Development properly, I catch the odd episode now and then and love 'em. I think quite of a lot of it is improv too which I like.

Gob and Tobias crack me up.
