If we bring Holtby in I can't see us getting a striker this window, primarily because I can see us switching our formation to be more akin to the one we witnessed AVB implement at Chelsea.

We must be looking for a striker at present, Dempsy not an out and out striker, Defoe carrying an injury, Ade has been a disapointment, we must be looking.

That happened when Gallas signed. They put it on the website about a month before. Removed it within seconds.

a few days to go before we confirm that. but i agree if we're skint... another midfielder?

Reckon that AVB will only introduce him slowly into the team - where do people think he'll play? Replace Dempsey and play just off Defoe?

Agree that he will be introduced slowly most likely. Probably will be given time off the bench just off a striker or in one of the wide positions early on and then it depends on how he performs and how quickly he adapts.
