Yep, that's where I see him playing from the little I know of him, although someone on here last week said he can also play more defensively too, so maybe he'll play alongside Dembele.

I think AVB hopes he'll be the player Sigurdsson was meant to be. If he is, then we'll switch formation back to a lone forward with the support coming from the flanks (with Bale and Lennon probably switching wings to become inverted wingers) and play three men in the centre of midfield.

Ok ok we're getting somewhere now. Now we have cover for cm and the wing positions if needs be which is good. Ok Levy get us a striker now....even one on loan...anyone just to take the burden off Defoe.



Right now i would take Kenywne Jones on a 6 month loan.

Any chance of someone can put up the ESPN after match interview yesterday when AVB was asked if Holtby was going to join us at the end of january............."NO".........why so cagey??

So we can presume the no in buying a striker as well we shall ignore.

Hopefully he'll make a permanent move somewhere and start fresh, best of luck to him if he does as I just don't see him being much use for us for us this season.

What, that I don't want to see him playing for us in his current form?

Even as horrible as Parker was yesterday, he was still better than Hudd has been for most of this season.
