Sherlock Holmes, A Game of Shadows - good. A little bit too Guy Richie in places, but decent and very funny in parts

Sigh. As a fan of the books, I thought it was a load of bullcrap.

As a fan of Guy Ritchie's films, I thought it was good.

Overall, I'd like a bit more sleuthing and a bit less of Downey Jr. acting like a Victorian Iron Man in the next one, I think.;)

watched the Guard last weekend was a decent black comedy and got the devils double to watch this weekend anyone seen it ?

Gleeson does a decent job, but beyond that, I thought it was a little disappointing, in all honesty.

You know, that is probably the best analysis of the Sherlock films I've seen. I really enjoy the films but as you say that's from a fan of Ritchie and Downey Jr's Victorian Iron Man PoV.
I 100% understand why the book fans aren't keen on it. If you haven't already, I thoroughly recommend you watch the BBC's modern take on it, Sherlock. It's awesome.

Please no!

I went to that film thinking Sherlock Holmes there has to be a mystery, something to intrigue. It was like Indiana Jones except with that taco Downey farting about. Horrendous film.

Its decent, if you plan on watching the Avengers then give it a go.

I guess ill give it a miss tho.

I aint listening to you Linnet mate

Mallrats is good though - will watch that. Need something good to watch on my new tv. Its got internet so just watched some porn on it - superb.

The Dark Knight Rises out July 20th, making me moist already. Most anticipated film this year without a doubt. Probably the only one I'll bother going to see at the cinema.

As a massive Batman fanboy I share your moistness. It's going to be immense.

I've heard of it, but I honestly thought it was some Coronation Street-esque jazz. I'll check it out mate, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Watched Captain America in the morning. Not overly impressed.

Followed that by Water for Elephants. Good film, would recommend a watch
