well in 10 years at Everton i havent seen a change.

managers or coaches tend to have a philosophy they stick to. Wenger, Mourinho, Mancini, Allardyce, Pulis, Redknapp etc stick to their styles no matter which club they manage

Not necessarily true, some managers change depending on the resources they have available. Look how boring Chelsea were under Mourinho and now compare that to Madrid who have become a goal scoring machine. Madrid play attacking football and always want to score while Chelsea under Mourinho would often shut up shop after going 1:0 ahead. If you try that at Real Madrid you will not last more than a season

when Robben played for chelsea, they were not boring. Dont confuse Mourinho's end there with his first two seasons.

Mourinho has Ronaldo and ?ûzil at Real.....i defy any manager to make a boring team containing those two.

different leagues, different clubs, but still wherever he goes Mourinho's basic philosophy is to have a expertly strong defence and then let the attackers do their job.

Exactly. You've got DHSF to do that kind of thing for you.

Ok - reported

Under the site rules and infraction points system section nine - Complaints about an admins actions.

By the way Chichester doesnt have any balls to shave.

on topic - I really think Levy wants someone with proven premiership experience and there arent too many about. In terms of premiership experience you have Rodgers who has had little premiership experience, so has Lambert. There really arent too many about.

What about Di Matteo? although no premiership managerial experience he has done well with that chelscum side who AVB couldnt mould.

I reckon players like Bale and Lennon and pretty much all of the English players in our squad would welcome someone like Brendan Rodgers.

I don't think it's a good idea to go after Billic purely because he MIGHT be able to hang on to Modric. Let's be honest, I'm sure Modric will have made his mind up within a few weeks (if he hasn't already) about whether he's going to stay or not. I think the only managers who would be capable of hanging on to Modric are Mourinho and Redknapp.

I think you're on the money with Luka...

I don't think Harry on his own would have been able to keep Modric last season, that was mostly Levy doing his thing. Mourinho of course is a big enough name and would be exciting enough for the players to keep hold of our stars, but don't underestimate Levy.

I agree, Modric wanted to leave and the only thing that stopped him was Levy saying no. Nothing to do with Redknapp.

If I was Levy I would defintely interview Benitez for the job. Definitely.

Rodgers has had one season in the prem. Benitez haswon the champions league, got to the final on several occasions, finished second in the prem.

His team with Alonso, Mascherano, Gerrard etc was lot easier on the eye than people give credit for.

Not saying i would necessarily appoint him but he would be one of the front runners.

The ONLY reason Benny Hill would even be considered is because there wont be another option available.

I don't think so. I'm yet to see Levy go for someone who just failed at their previous job. He normally goes for managers that are currently being successful in.

id be disgusted if we appointed Benitez - he had his moments at Liverpool but can you imagine if they never already had Carragher and Gerrard at the club ? they would have had nowhere near the 'success' they had under him, not to mention the utter boring turgid football they played under him

Fair enough. Has a decent CV behind him. Certainly better than Rodgers or Moyes. Where would we be if Harry didn't inherit Modic and Bale? You could say that about any manager.
I also dont think Liverpool were as dour as people are making out.

Our recent performances haven't exactly been awe inspiring either.

Precisely - recent performance.

With Benny Hill it would be - permanent. I will not accept Benny Hill. Also dont forget he will go back to Liverscum when they sack KKK. Liverscum never let go of the past their ****ing fans just want to rotate around between Benny Hill and KKK
