I think he'd be brilliant, but given that Juve and Roma are apparently tussling to secure the half of his contract not already owned by the Giallorossi, I don't think we have much of a chance. He'd be perfect, though, exactly what we need.

There are certain shopping lists in certain hotels around the world - Mayfair and Dubai especially. There are often rumours (rarely wrong) about who is on that list.

I can't afford to live that life all the time but I do spend the odd night in a Mayfair suite and get to hear all kinds of offers. Reality TV stars are very keen to supplement their incomes, as is an american actress with massive court fees and a lot of partying to pay for.

Mea culpa, although I don't think the totals themselves paint our two lads as all that bad, really: Bentaleb made the most interceptions despite playing the fewest minutes, and Mason's numbers regarding the chances he created and the tackles he won (both arguably key in a modern DM with the license to dictate play from behind the front) are equally as impressive.

Here's another one, with the per ninety metrics, but with Johannes Geis, a CDM for Mainz, substituted in for Nainggolan. I don't think we were ever really linked with him, and according to reports and Mainz' chairman himself ( http://www.sport1.de/fussball/bunde...inz-05-zwischen-wechselgeruechten-und-u-21-em ) he'd cost about what was being bandied about for Imbula earlier (around 12.5 million quid), but he ticks an awful lot of boxes in all the right categories: hard-working, great defensively, and crucially, an absolutely astounding long-passer (look at his key passes, chances created and average pass length), able to orchestrate play from deep behind the lines in his CDM position. He's only 21, is used to playing in a double pivot as part of a 4-2-3-1, is apparently a born leader as per his own admission, is very tactically intelligent by all accounts...if it wasn't likely that he's already being courted by Dortmund (where his old coach is now in charge), I'd say he'd be perfect for what we're trying to go with.
