Mikey Moore

Moore's form is outrageous, think he's on a 20+ run of games scoring or assisting in every game across club & country.

Regardless of opposition, that consistency/involvement at his age is nuts

Remember he is still only 16. He's played a couple of times already for the first team.

16 year olds playing for the first team is not the norm. Even on the continent. Jamal is an exception. Not the rule.
Agreed and I think people overlook just how much of an exception Jamal is.

And on the same point how little it would take from Moore (and Postecoglu in giving him game time) for him to also be an exception (not as much of one as Jamal, but still).

He seems to have a knack of scoring in almost every game doesnt he!? Scored another couple today against Japan u20s in a closed doors friendly (Apparently only a 60min game)
Only 2 goals in 60 minutes? Rubbish, loan him out to Sclamhorpe. He can take that bloody Lankshear with him too, so bloody boring scoring in every game.

That won't change with PL B teams.

Average season attendance for league 2 last year was over 6k, how does that compare with the rest of Europes 4th tier?

Hasn't been much of a bump in numbers in the EFL trophy with u21 teams from PL

I'd certainly look at changing the league up, but not at the expense of other clubs.

In Germany, Spain and Italy there are B teams from the top clubs playing in the 3rd or 4th tier and it's mostly semi-pro or amateur.
As for attendances Arminia Bielefeld in Bundesliga 3 had an average attendance just shy of 9, 000 last season.

If i was the prem i would have it as a part of the negotiations for better split of the tv money. I believe it would massively boost english football overall. Players would gain experience of adult football at a younger age. Smaller tesms may miss out on loans but clubs could still only have a limited number of players on their books (especially with the new loan rules). So will still have to release players. Clubs signing those players will have a good idea of what level they are at.

Those countries dont have the football pyramid like we do
In the UK it’s very historical and for the right reasons
Clubs were created by communities and factories and it’s stuck

The model of creating second tier sides for top clubs could kill that and there wouldn’t be a way of make it happen

How would it kill it? There would still be a pyramid. The youth sides wouldn't be able to be promoted. Instead of league 2 you could have a north and south with youth teams mixed in. Winner of each gets promoted then a playoff for the third team to go up. Same for relegation. Or just have 2 up from the national league.

For a start you would need to either take over or relegate a large number of sides to make room
Then add in no relegation…. Or promotion… almost becomes show matches
Football works with jeopardy
It’s not a shock that a lot of players talk about lower league loans teaching them the value of earning the living of being a player and paying a mortgage

No you don't. You create north and south of 24 teams each. 10 in each league would be prem b. So in fact you'd have to promote an extra 4 teams from the national league to make up the numbers.

There would still be relegation and promotion. Just not for the prem b teams. The jeopardy for the prem b team players is their careers are on the line. As they'll either stay with the parent club or be released if not good enough.

So you would have to change the whole system to accommodate it
