Manager Sack Watch

Wolves have sacked Walter Zenga. I forgot they even hired him, but obvious sacking was obvious back then.
Who will the Chinese hire next? Obviously it will be some previous footballer with a known name, that has achieved nothing as a manager. Ravanelli? Baggio? Boban? Stoicovich?

I imagine he is a bit of a 'project' type coach. 80 days or so is not really gonna be enough to embed the Ajax philosophy in a new side. Could see him the PL at a lower/mid table team.

Sunderland?
He will be able to learn about English football even if they do go down which they will!

That is one of the things that is wrong, players who graced the game walking straight into management because they think its easy. Great/good players usually fail once they move into the hot seat ( they are exceptions but they are few) Neville failed after spouting on Sky for a while and it goes all the way back to the England team who won the World Cup.

Most of them had a crack at management but apart from Big Jack they all failed. I saw something the other day that Gerrard and Lampard were going to be fast tracked to their Badges because of who they are.

Apparently the wife will stop supporting them if that happens.

It's a sad world where you have to hope for Allardyce

Obviously, your wife's happiness is normally my first concern but Sherwood managing in the Premier Leagues is funny. Sorry Mrs Scara.

I'm gutted. Palace are my second team (nearest to where I grew up, first team I saw live). I hated Pardew being their manager, but Allardyce would be too much. I'm hoping they can pull off Coleman or Rowett
