Yeah, and it worked perfectly both times. That's the blueprint.
"both" = 2 games
But it's all gone a bit, Pete Tong, now.
He looked angry because he was getting takes down his Achilles three times
Nothing to do with anything else IMO
I do agree with your comment about the players being improved though
Out of the old bunch only Aurier has got better, than he was before Jose. The rest have stagnated at best
Can’t realign compare Gio as he never played under Poch and Tanguy has got better as Poch said he would.
The rest have been average at best having some good to great games and some shockers
Who Tanguy?No before that
"both" = 2 games

I really wish he could get them all onside and put some wins on board.
performance can come later maybe.
he was be placated by Sissoko from start.He looked well miffedWho Tanguy?
He looked tinkled off as soon as they raked him
some want performance some want resultsWe all want that
What is striking about them? They are all different size clubs, at different cycles within their managers reigns. None have the same expectation as us or is that the point? If so was Lampard favourite before he went?Mourinho now as short as 5/1 as next manager (with Unibet) to leave post, or 7/2 on Betfair!
Most bookies have him around 6/1, alongside Woy and Fat Sam
Bruce and Santo are 2/1 favs

Striking the sort of other clubs which the managers above are in charge of!
Nonsense. They were markedly better players at Chelsea and Inter. Porto are one of the established big three in Portugal and win the CL is an accomplishment but it is a cup at the end of the day.I don't think thats true, look at Jose's Chelsea/Inter/Porto teams, they just didn't make mistakes, and the raw materials he started with were no better than what he has here.
You talk as if Poch and Mourinho have completely opposite approaches when it's actually a continuum. Many times Poch prioritised defense and being solid over attacking possibilities. Wanyama and Demebele/Dier is a very combatative and no flair central midfield.It’s not words. It’s my recollection of the many many games I went too
We had poor games vs teams like Burnley because we couldn’t break them down
We always struggled to get over the line at palace despite getting the wins by the odd goals because we struggled to break them downs and relied on worldly strikes
It’s hard to beat teams who dig in if they don’t make mistakes. We have shown that ourselves this season when we have done just that

Problem being, a top 5 finish and a league cup win will be classed as a very successful season even if it is papering over the cracks.
Agree, at the very least see what we’ve actual achieved come the end of the season and where we are at. This talk of replacing manager feels a little premature. One thing I do know is whether it was Poch still here, Mourinho or the latest up and coming foreign coach being touted as our saviour, we still require an overhaul of our squad. It simply hasn’t been rectified for a good couple of years at least.....There were a few on here wanting Nuno when Poch went. Not a lot of evidence now that would have worked out well.
It’s like the poll running on here - eleven people have voted for Hasenhuttl. Yes, the man who watched his Southampton side ripped apart for 90 minutes earlier this season as we knocked ball after ball over his back line while he did nothing to stop it. He then cried when his side beat Liverpool in a league game...
I’m willing to give Mourinho more time - not least because that is the reality of the situation. It will take the crash of all time for Levy to get rid of him before the summer imo. We remain in three cups (including a final), and we are six points off the top four with a game in hand, in a league in which every team’s form is yo-yoing all over the place.
Yes, the football is dire - but it was dire for a lot longer under Poch and AVB before Levy acted. He will want to give Mourinho every chance, I reckon - and that feels right to me.
Another change means another year of someone settling in, finding their feet, and assessing a squad at least half of which Jose will already know aren’t up to it.
Disagree, Europa League cup and top 6 would be fine though. Otherwise need top 4 for it to be considered a success....Problem being, a top 5 finish and a league cup win will be classed as a very successful season even if it is papering over the cracks.
I agreeAs someone vehemently pro Jose I'd still consider that a disaster. We have to be in the CL.
EL win it is then.I agree
Anything less than that by whatever means is a failure as it’s not progress
