I think it's absolutely brilliant for Spurs that Kane has a good presence in the media. Having a star player, improves the marketability of the club and hence improves the money that comes in from commercial deals. Carry on just the way that you are now please Harry.

England's Euro 2016 preparations got off to a pretty decent start in their friendly against Turkey.

It took just three minutes for Premier League Golden Boot winner Harry Kane to open the scoring, after the linesman brilliantly forget how the offside rule works.

From the Twitter fans' perspective, however, it was all been downhill after that - just like Kane's shooting accuracy.

Opting to shoot - A LOT - when it would've been wiser to pass was a running theme in the first half especially, and it didn't take long for Twitter to vent its fury...

It has already started ! English media are the English players no.1 enemy ! Period. Kane will not do himself any favour by keep going to the media. They will monitor all his movements just to find faults with him ! Remember how they destroyed Paul Robinson after his mistake for England ?

The team was initially set up in a 4-3-3 formation to suit Kane as the central striker and he more than justified that decision - his penalty miss aside, this was another impressive display leading England's attack. Yes, he was offside when he scored, but he took that chance superbly and was never afraid to miss.

My advice is to avoid the gutter press.
