He didn't make a bunch of great decisions. He overpaid for a lot of acquisitions that left them exposed. Total opposite to Levy who has built strong foundations for the future with the infrastructure.
Yes he's made some mistakes in the last few years, a few short term mistakes but long term we're in a really solid position. It looks like he's getting the more short term stuff right again but that remains to be seen.

So that means he should remain in charge indefinitely despite years of bad decisions? If a manager was underperforming for 3-4 years would you want them to remain in charge?
 
Think we missed a trick with not getting Johnny Evans on a free, would have given Eric Dier competition in defence and an upgrade.

OK. You can get into semantics if you like and count a custodian (twice) and a terrible three game bridge. You want to count Ange too? Why not given the flex here hahaha:D

But in two different spells, with different contexts. Its not exactly accurate to combine the two spells into one. Some nuance is needed, its hes not two different managers of course, but at the same time it was a different spell.

I did only count Mason once…. and why on earth wouldn’t I count Postecoglou?

Without wanting to sound too callous, I think he sounds the opposite of intelligent. That said, he seems like a good, honest pro and a decent person. It’s hard to dislike him on a personal level.
