Any idea what our cashflow is?
We've £78m in the bank. Down from £173m last year so a loss of £95m. That's a much bigger drop than I expected to be fair and I was one of those being critical on the wages to turnover ratio.

As others have pointed out, Levy has no real independent wealth of his own to inject so unless Uncle Joe and family have a change of heart or we get outside investment, there's not a huge amount Levy can do without putting the club at quite a bit of risk especially without European football next season should that come to pass.

Worrying numbers IMO.

Worrying numbers unless we sell a few
Which we will
That’s always been our Achilles heel

Another indicator that they’re out of their depth running what we have become.

Going backwards on the pitch; one trophy in Ghod knows how long; and now the financial side posting ‘worrying numbers’ (despite the ‘game changing’ stadium).

And yet some will still claim they’re doing a good job.

I’d agree that they DID a good job getting us to a certain level - but the weight of evidence since the stadium move suggests that they are no longer moving us forward.

(And whoever is in charge of their communications should be sacked before Ange.)

He's thick as brick isn't he.

He's an absolute clam, and here is the problem with any reasonable discourse about the club

Narratives over data is our new world, just say any brick you want, shout it loud enough and repeat often enough and large groups of people will accept as the truth.

So many people want to attribute in year challenges as some kind of larger/broader "conspiracy"/whatever flimflam. Club made a mistake with the manager, we need to replace and move on .. that's it .. actually done a good job with some of the squad refresh, reverting to a focus on youth players and development of several of those ..

I agree, I'm not concerned, we've built a really good squad, and have a focused strategy.

As soon as we have a proper manager in place, we'll be back in business and challenging for CL qualification through the league.

I'm not either, this isn't a bottom half of the table squad

The question is, what do we re-baseline to? is this a top 6 squad or is it actually challenging for top 4? (and this is more about consistent, year over year, Forest has shown a far weaker squad can make a top 4 run on any given year). And post baseline, how many players, what investment is needed, is it 1 or 2 players or more?

The issue is the opposite, we make and spend a fortune......badly....this is why the protests don't work, the messaging doesn't reflect the reality. Concentrate on the failure on the pitch and not the money crap

Then you would have to spend the time to understand/analyze the problem, have a thought about actual solutions other than "skint basterds need to spend money"
