Daniel Levy - Chairman

If the dof doesn't choose the head coach and someone is thrust upon him. It's a mess from the start. Paratici will know this and i'm sure wouldn't take the job if that were the case.

This is where it gets interesting. Nothing will change if Levy insists the coach finds a way to train Dier at CB instead of buying or not playing a Sunday team before a cup final.

Its funny how levy trusts king, Mason for the big stuff but struggles with the manager relationship. Forgiving with hitchen and committee's decisions which have us a lop sided unbalanced team that poch and mourinho could not work with eventually. But sacks Comolli when Ramos fails.

All those managers before... They too wanted 1-2 players more to improve us but denied by Levy. The obvious thing to do is to accept a lower goal e.g. No champions leaague however that would hurt non footballing business.
No it won’t. It will be him AND Levy.

If you say so. They have been in serial decline since he left. They would suck your dic k for constantly finishing Top 4 and the odd trophy, which was what Wenger was delivering before any of that Wenger out stuff started
They were in decline before Wenger left due to poor leadership from the top. Wenger did a great job stemming the leaks but their problem was actually their ownership.

But in case you don't remember they actually fell out of the top 4 under Wenger. As I said the fish rots from the head and Wenger wasn't the head.

Story dates back to 2016. First time reading about it. Make me empathise with Poch's last year here but conversely makes me question Levy and co. Much more.

Poch wanted to upgrade our midfield with Wijnaldum and our wide attackers with Mane. Instead we got Sissoko who he initially thought was brick and didn't even play (he was right). Over time because he is a development coach he played him and eventually began to rely on him to our and his ultimate detriment.

Liverpool were very early in the transfer window with wijnaldum too. Probably knew Poch was talking and didn't wait too long to seal it. Proper club there... Getting both player and finance right. If selling to psg represents a great investment considering the years of service in a CL winning team. Something that Levy and cronies don't get.

I genuinely don’t know as I have lost track of it in the midst of this farce - has Paratici actually signed up? If not, isn’t this all just Poch and Conte type speculation?

Arsenal's problem was that Wenger had too much control/power and when it came to replacing him they weren't just replacing a first team coach it was someone who had his fingers in all aspects of running the club - so essentially a first team coach + DoF and some more executive type roles too probably.

They got it arse about face by trying to replace him behind the scenes and freeing him up to manage only in his last year or two - they should have brought in a new first team coach and let him carry on as a DoF type figure and gradually reduced his power over time.

The Trust have a new fans survey about Levy/ENIC , etc.

The sections are as follows:

1. It's all about you
2. Season tickets and memberships
3. Return of fans
4. Match day atmosphere
5. Playing away
6. Spurs are on the telly
7. Football performance
8. Ownership and governance
9. Together THFC
10. National supporter issues
11. THST: How are we doing?

Should make for interesting reading once the results come out.

Not really
The people who complete these for them have too much bias

There was talk that their finance for the ground had caveats about wenger remaining for a period in certain roles
If that’s true that’s quite scary

I guess we all have our biases, but I know what you mean.
You don't have to be a Trust member to complete the survey. I think it's important that all views get represented, to at least try to give a bit of balance. If you have a different view to that of what appears to be the majority (vocally at least), this is a good opportunity to put it forward.
