Spur of the moment
Frederic Kanoute
Decent article somewhat flawed by the lack of recognition for BMJ and the dubious shenanigans in Spain that led to his replacement by Ramos.

I will be really interested to see what he does now, if the is any sort of a plan.
Really wished Mitchell had been allowed to be the sort of director of football he wanted to be.

He wanted to cream a load of money off of every deal didn’t he?
There is always a plan with Levy
Nobody gets to do their job exactly how they want, we need a DoF but I'm not completely sold that we missed out on the 2nd coming with Mitchell
And?RB Leipzig and now Monaco, I'm following his career closely.
And?
Not quite sure how one can conclude that Redknapp and Pochettino couldn’t motivate the players? Thanks Steve. Plus ca change indeed. I feel like we tried 20 managers and none of them could properly motivate and focus the players.
So we signed a deal with the devil and allowed the Might Mourinho to have a go at motivating our players, and he has failed.
I don't know the reasons, but I feel pretty resigned now to Spurs never being properly motivated and focussed for all games, it just seems impossible to motivate a Spurs team, they just don't care as much as the opposition, so we always fail. Forever.

Both consistently overachieved compared to wage bill and net spend which is very tangible proof that they both organised and motivated the players very well.Look at the run of brick results they both had in their latter days.
I'd add that Jose can't motivate them either looking at some of the performances this season.
Their final years were woeful. Absolutely woeful "efforts" and performances. They managed to motivate them for a while, then it all crumbled as usual. Poch was a shell of a human by the end, mumbling darkly and looking like he had 3 hours sleep per night. Not quite sure how one can conclude that Redknapp and Pochettino couldn’t motivate the players?
Is that not the description for most managers tenures to varying degrees. Team does well, then not so well, manager leaves. Otherwise they'll be in the job forever.Their final years were woeful.
