The switch to the middle when Wanyama went off definitely helped. Would like to see him there more often especially when Dembele isn't playing.

I think that it is impossible to say from outside what could or could not be affecting a player's form. I don't think that today demonstrated anything other than he had a good game.

I know. You said before the game. I think that form is more complicated that that. The whole teams performance was better today, that would help too, and I assume that we are not putting that down to Eriksen's new deal as well.

Eriksen is quite critical to the way we play. An off form Dane, more often than not means a stuttering team performance. When Chritian plays well it is no coincidence (at least to me) that the team suddenly clicks into gear.

Personally, I put Eriksen's return to form down to @Gutter Boy claming him off. He's the anti-Midas, if he can do for Eriksen what he did for Dembele, get your money on him for the PFA Player of the Year now.

First half his set-pieces were shocking. 2nd half was a different player, that flick before he set up Son for the 2nd was class.

The first assist obviously help with his confidence. Don't think the pass was intended for son though, think it was for wanyama but son intercepted.
Hopefully a big booster to his and sons confidence today.
