Do you really believe some of the things you post or are you on a wind up.
I genuinely think Eriksen is the weakest player in our starting 11. He's pretty in minor games, but just isn't a big game player

In this inflated market we could almost totally probably get more than the 11 million we paid for him. BUT, in this inflated market any replacement would cost way more.Every player has his price and what is Eriksen 's? And who could we get for less money and wages?

He wasn't referring to gods, only mere mortals. You missed out Mason from that list GB.

Emirates Marketing Project away anyone?
I'm sure your bias against Eriksen has nothing to do with your man love for Mason.
Is actually bonkers
If get it if he picked on a poor player or even a new player but eriksen has proven himself now
Using the logic of big game players GB how do you rate Sanchez, Ozik or Suarez and they invariably are flat track bullies a lot of the time and haven't done it consistently in the big games ... Are they weak?!?!
It isn't, as our squad is already proof of.
Two Spanish sides, one French, one German, one Italian and five English sides pay more than us. They all make a lot more than us as well (through cheating or otherwise).
it's the going rate for a player of that quality IF they are sought after by the richest clubs in the game - there will be the odd example of a small club over paying their top players to keep them there (West Ham/Payet) but it's not reflective of what they will or are capable of paying to everyone that joins them
I get that, but I don't like the idea of other clubs potentially sniffing around and offering him much higher wages. Juve are rumoured to be interested, I realise it's just paper talk at this point so it has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
As for clubs like West Ham, of course they can't pay all of their players £125k a week, but players at other clubs will take notice that they are paying their top players those kinds of figures and whilst it might not be a deal breaker, it's a factor that they will take into consideration.
the thing with Juve is they could offer him half of what we are paying him and it would still be tempting, they're football royalty
Ozil is. He's known for going missing in the big games - that's why he's at the goons and not a big club.Is actually bonkers

Bale?I swear the 'he doesn't turn up in big games' line gets thrown at every top player.....
Bale?

Look, I think we all agree he is a very important player, a centre piece of what Poch is building, but the question surely remains whether he is THE man, as he apparently wishes to be paid as THE man. And on that point, I would ask where he was against Leicester away, Saudi Sportswashing Machine home, Saudi Sportswashing Machine away and West Brom home to name four games off the top of my head where I expect THE man to be able to pull rabbits from hats. Again, it is a high expectation, and perhaps not wholly fair. But I raise the question repeatedly simply because I think he still has some way to go before he actually becomes THE man and perhaps one of the top stars in Europe. Aggravating thing is he has it in him. Again, parity with some of our top earners is fair, but IMO, he is not the man who should smash our wage ceiling...I thought he was a little "limp" at Everton and said as much!
But that was one game for pity sake.
He was exceptional last season.........
Ibrahimovic definitely doesn't.
Thierry Henry was also a flat track bully. Never scored in a final I believe.
And as great as Ronaldo is, I don't think he does it ENOUGH in big games. Apart from scoring penalties in shootouts and ripping his shirt off.
