Arteta is FIVE YEARS into his job. It took him THREE to actually make a half-decent tilt at the title. At this stage in his second season, Arteta’s Arsenal were in 13th place with 20 points. Whether Postecoglu is the right man or not nobody knows yet, but what is clear is that if you want to measure him by Arteta, then you have to be consistent in doing so and conclude that right now, he’s doing a BETTER job than Arteta did at that time! Truth is I don’t think he will get anywhere near the time Arteta has had, or the resources.

I can’t see this getting any better at all even when everyone is fit. Ange is clearly out of his depth and he should really walk and take Son, Madders, etc all with him.
