He won’t get the sack
They all get the sack eventually. If he doesn’t adapt I think he’ll be gone by the start of next season - quite possibly sooner.

I believe that’s why Slot was so full of compliments; he couldn’t wait to take advantage. “Give them toffee,” as Bob Paisley used to say whilst buttering up opposing managers, prior to kicking their arses.
You see the divergence of opinions on here where the majority are questioning the wisdom of our tactics. In the media, pretty much every pundit is disagreeing with Ange to some degree. There is no way there aren’t players in that squad and the team who aren’t thinking “this is a bit mad”. These are top pros who’ve made unbelievable sacrifices to get to where they are and they’re the ones who are getting embarrassed at times.
Read between the lines, your most committed/effective player is saying "you have to learn" & "maybe you need to adjust"
Players are just as fickle as fans, we actually have a few in this side that care, and hate losing, Ange needs to manage that.

It’s a tough one for Ange to manage. Management is hard enough in everyday life. Can’t imagine how tough it is going in to try and direct lads who are all listening to the media saying that the manager’s game plan is destined to fail.

Really? next 6 games
- Could be in 13th-15th place if we fail to pick up point against Forest, Wolves & Saudi Sportswashing Machine
- Lose the first leg of semi against Liverpool by same score as last week-end, we are out
- Be 13th on Jan 15th and taking a beating from Arsenal, what do you think the mob view is going to be?
- And that's followed up by away to Everton and away game in Germany for Europa
Every game between now and January 23rd except Tamworth is a potential loss, and while no, we aren't going to lose all, we need to win a lot more than we are likely to.
I continue to believe the club is backing him and he has until the end of season but with @Mikey10 here, lose 3 of next 6 (includes Forest, Arsenal & Pool), draw 2 (Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Wolves) and only win Tamworth? I think he's gone.
Losing the dressing room, it's the start.

Mob view doesn’t matter. Some fans give this more importance than it deserves. Money is what talks. If we don’t look like we are going to compete for top 4, Ange will be gone. The mob view is the problem
As I said a few days ago this is arsenal after arteta was 18 months in except he didn’t have the up injury crisis
Hell he did win an FA cuo early doors but apparently that wasn’t his side unless it suits the argument. And the diners and why I’m raising it is because their mind wanted him gone. Their board even interviewed other managers including Poch.
And I think we will limp to maybe 2 wins and a draw in the next 6 because we are knackered and the 18 year olds can’t lift a team with nothing in the tank. We’re looking at kids who can’t even grow a beard to do things they arent ready for. If fans think that’s in the manager the he can never win, but a new guy will still have the injury issues until it ends
We didn’t conquer it last yearMob view doesn’t matter. Some fans give this more importance than it deserves. Money is what talks. If we don’t look like we are going to compete for top 4, Ange will be gone.
I’m afraid the comparisons with Arteta are also wide of the mark imho. Just because there may have been some similarities in early results that does not, in itself, mean Ange is going to end up having us challenging for the league anytime soon. For a start, as much as I dislike Arteta, you can see he is more pragmatic than Ange. Arteta builds his teams from a solid defence. That seems, based on experience, to be key to winning things in this league. I don’t think you’ll get away with conceding goals and chances the way we do.
We didn’t conquer it last year
And i agree Ange is nothing like Arteta
He is can for a start with a clear philosophy which I’m yet to see from Arteta. Arteta now seems to focus on set piece play during by their goal return this year in that way
And i agree you dong win things unless you stop conceding as much but the reason they didn’t win a title was because he did just that.. played for a nil nil again his rivals and assumed they would win every game after. That’s pragmatism that cost them their best chance of a title.
So I’m not comparing are with Arteta I’m comparing the clubs and the fans at a similar point in time and that is very relevant
He made sure they secured 2ndDid he miss out on 1st, or was that part of guaranteeing 2nd?
The way that post reads indicates Ange is a better manager. Arteta is a pragmatic manager who has built an excellent squad who have great belief in the manager. Ange has signed 14 players, and if truth be known they don't believe in his crazy school playground tactics. Believe me, you will turn on him shortly, and I'll remind you of our conversations. Of course, we will win the occasional game, but at present we are losing approximately 50% of them, which is the worst for quite some time. Because he keeps telling us how good he is, doesn't mean you have to believe him!We didn’t conquer it last year

Arteta is FIVE YEARS into his job. It took him THREE to actually make a half-decent tilt at the title. At this stage in his second season, Arteta’s Arsenal were in 13th place with 20 points. Whether Postecoglu is the right man or not nobody knows yet, but what is clear is that if you want to measure him by Arteta, then you have to be consistent in doing so and conclude that right now, he’s doing a BETTER job than Arteta did at that time! Truth is I don’t think he will get anywhere near the time Arteta has had, or the resources.
Love that
