A quality number 6 would solve a lot of these deficiencies
I have been saying the same all season, a proper DM will make a lot of difference to our wide open CM.
A quality number 6 would solve a lot of these deficiencies
I replied to that showing it wasn’t true as it factored in PL minutes only.We had a good enough team not to s*** the bed in the first half from the first whistle. Not to leave gaping holes in the midfield. Not to concede about 4 or 5 good chances in the first 20 minutes. I've posted on here that we don't have a single player in the top 20 for minutes played and only 2 in the top 50. Yet people lap this idea up that we are s*** because they're all fatigued due to injuries. It's total ho*** s***. Danso and Tel have barely played this season. Bentancur, Moore and Bergvall are on low games for the season. Spence didn't get a look in until December or so. Yet the reason we couldn't match Villa's work rate and the reason we looked ragged is fatigue. I'm sick of hearing it.
Bergvall’s positional sense is really poor. You can tell he is an 18 year old with lots of learning still to do.Danso = new signing
Tel = 19 years old never having played in the Prem
Bentancur = poor
Moore = 17 years old and having lready been laid out with an illness
Bergvall = 18 years old and playing well
Porro, Son, Deki, all seniors, all absolutely cu-n-ted and unable to step up and BE the difference makers.
Bissouma, absolutely unable to step up because he's inconsistent.
Spence and Gray have been great.
Bergvall’s positional sense is really poor. You can tell he is an 18 year old with lots of learning still to do.
Also runs around looking to get stuck in and doesn’t seem great at picking the challenges to make. I like him as a player, love his enthusiasm, but he’s a raw diamond right now that needs work.
I think he suffers from not having a defined roleBergvall’s positional sense is really poor. You can tell he is an 18 year old with lots of learning still to do.
The last paragraph is key for meI think a lot of that is due to the situation we’re in. Initially it was just keenness to impress. Now he’s seeing us get outfought and he’s responding by going around smashing into everyone to try and help.
I absolutely love his attitude. His head never drops, doesn’t hide and always shows for the ball. He just keeps going. If we develop him right he’ll be an unbelievable player.
If I was going to war I’d want him alongside me. As you say he doesn’t yet know how to pick his challenges. So I’d have half an eye out nervously looking where he pointing his gun, blasting away at everything. Serious friendly fire fears.
And I replied to your reply that even factoring in European minutes it is still true. Look at Villa. Champions League, PL, injury problems, no fit centre-backs, can't name a full subs bench, yet looked miles ahead of us in every departmentI replied to that showing it wasn’t true as it factored in PL minutes only.

They have gone downhill fast since losing Rodri, amazing what a difference losing just one key player can make to the team.I saw a table earlier today where Spurs players had 5 of the top 20 minutes played this season, but GHod knows where I saw it or if it was true.
I also just saw Emirates Marketing Project's fixture list... they struggled past Leyton Orient on Saturday, now have to face Real Madrid on Tuesday night, that is a very tight turnaround. Then Saudi Sportswashing Machine Saturday! Then Real Madrid again on Weds! Then Liverpool on the Sunday! Then their real bogey team, Bottleham Jobspurs on the Wednesday, at the Lane!
Bergvall’s positional sense is really poor. You can tell he is an 18 year old with lots of learning still to do.
If you tell me how to turn dark mode on, I'll keep my vote on Ange out.ange is a likeable fella so people on here are more patient with him i guess
Still about 50:50 but things are shifting with each game...remember you can change your vote!

The realty is because they way they are forced to play the injury crisis will never change. We would need a squad the size of the U.S army for injuries not to be an issue. I said before the Villa game if we lose he will either be sacked or be around to the end of the summer. Unfortunately it looks like the latterThe injury crisis is saving him in my opinion.
The last paragraph is key for me
If you was to pick in that aline you wouldn’t have any senior players in your set up
Not one based on this season
As I said in my post if the current injury crisis is partly down to Ange, his approach and system then it's also partly due to other factors. Of course one factor is just that injuries will happen no matter what. But if other factors are things such as luck, how the medical staff operates in cooperation with Ange and the coaches that can change. What makes you think we will have fewer injuries just out of interest mate? Ange’s teams are infamous for constantly picking up injuries.
You can just imagine Ange this week, Thinking, right.. we have a few days off, what can we do? maybe a bit of team bonding, let's all go do some army training together and run up and down some mountains with heavy backpacks etc. That will bring us all closer as a team.Im enjoying this week. Not having a midweek game makes it our longest unbeaten spell since the international breaks
Not quite....You can just imagine Ange this week, Thinking, right.. we have a few days off, what can we do? maybe a bit of team bonding, let's all go do some army training together and run up and down some mountains with heavy backpacks etc. That will bring us all closer as a team.
....meanwhile Arsenal are back.in Dubai chilling out for the 8th time in the last year or so![]()
Yeah, I was only joking. It's great that they can finally have a break and don't need to travel this week. Fingers crossed some players are fit and raring to go again soon.
