Yves Bissouma

Haven't watched him play all that much. Primarily from the games he's played against us - I'm excited by this guy. He's clearly got more to come and needs to polish his game, but you can see all the ingredients are there. A bit like Son when he was in his early to mid 20s. With the right guidance, he can be a world-class midfielder, and as he is, he's pretty decent.
 
I haven't seen much of him, but a lot of people rave about him, is he any different than Dacoure? Lots had the hots for him but I could never see it.
 
Think he’s a cooler customer than Doucoure and a more polished player but if you dump him into that Everton dumpster fire he might similarly degrade.

Doucoure did look pretty good, still a good player.

Bissouma is at a different level imo. And has shown real ability for a team looking to play a fairly ambitious style.

Have to say those allegations and the court case leave me with mixed feelings about signing him. Other than that he would be a very good signing.
 
Caicedo looked decent in the few times I’ve seen him, only 20 so still raw but may be a better choice than bissouma if the off-field stuff makes him toxic.

Is he up to the job defensively? His defensive numbers (fbref) are not impressive at all. From what I can see Lazio often play with a three man midfield.

Again, haven't seen him play in ages, remember him being a really good player, no doubt he still is. But it's he a defensively solid and hard working player for our midfield two?

He is very wooden, slow and would probably be most like Eric Dier in CM just without the defensive side of the game. I personally feel ,after watching him quite a few times that he is just one of them players that are there and doesn’t really do much. Useful but not a star player.

I think that it is pretty distasteful that people are even speculating about Bissouma when he has a sexual assault charge hanging over him.
