Would relegation be that bad?

See I see things differently, Frank never really laid into the players - Tudor is not afraid to do that when he feels it’s necessary, that’s setting standards. He also said he believes they will stay up so it’s belief if they put in the effort.

I also had no issues with the formation and players (considering availability) he played against palace. We have no creativity, Porro is the best passer and most likely to create so giving him the freedom at RCB to move forward and find passes made sense, having Sarr sit on Wharton made sense and Archie created our goal so vindicated it slightly. We didn’t look great but we still went 1-0 up and the only sight of goal palace were getting was when individually we messed up

We had 17% possession at home in the first 15 minutes of the game and could have been two down by then. Vicario had to pull off a sharp save in the first 30 seconds and they had a goal (ridiculously) ruled out for a player’s nose and hand being offside. Most of our players also looked like they were running through treacle throughout the game.

He did it by seeing them up to not lose every game
You know when he played 8 defenders when we lost 4-1
Didn’t need to say it publicly when you show it structurally and tactically
Having watched them play in the PL over the last two years I’m not sure he was far wrong tbf.

They’ve failed both under all out-attack and in a defensive set-up.

A sharp save? It was right at him, think my gran should have blocked that by standing still.

As for offside, watch Sarr he actually stopped as he knew he was offside rather then chasing (wrong thing to do btw) but there was cover. Yes they had more possession initially but that changed

The thing is that after sacking T. Frank we had two choices:
Go for a manager who was going to try a kick the players up the backside approach.
Go for a manager who was going to make them feel good about themselves.

Management is parenting right...

The thing is we need to look at our players and see which approach is going to get the best result at this moment in time.

It's the Dele Alli story all over again.

In hindsight, whilst the first one seems the most obvious, it might be the wrong approach for this group of players and where they are right now.

Agreed but would argue Frank was the arm around shoulder manager, its one of the thing he is known for
